Differentiated Instruction
Monday, March 13, 2023 - Sunday, April 30, 2023
Differentiated Instruction is an engaging way to add diversity to classrooms in a variety of manners. Differentiated Instruction takes time to develop and requires a flip in the process of most academic classrooms today. In this class, you will learn 1) what differentiation is, 2) retrofit verses universal design for learning, 3) processes for gathering facts about learners, 4) differentiating access to content and product in the classroom, 5) differentiating the instructional process, 6) collaborating in planning and evaluations for differentiated instruction, and 7) how to develop a comprehensive lesson for differentiation from beginning, to delivery, and to debriefing. The authors of the text being used have extensive knowledge in Differentiated Instruction. This class is meant to explore that wealth of knowledge, learn the process and approaches in order to apply it in our classrooms to effectively change the way content is accessed, and how student product is created.
