International scholars honor society induction

Alpha Mu Gamma initiates

Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University‘s Delta Pi chapter inducted seven students and a faculty member into Phi Beta Delta, the honor society for international scholars, during a ceremony on Thursday at the Alumni Center on the Baldwin City campus.

The students inducted were Zach Aldrich, Brad Burnside, Laura Bynum, Abbey Elsbernd, Katelyn Morris, Chris Tuso and Lexi Nyoni. Nicholaus Pumphrey, assistant professor of religious studies, was inducted as a faculty member. Baker student Morgan Banning, studying in Belgium for the fall semester, was selected as the recipient of the Eliot S. Berkley Prize in International Studies. Baker President Lynne Murray was recognized as an honorary member.

Since 1999, Delta Pi has grown to more than 240 members, including 170-plus students.
