Christmas Candlelight Vespers set for 84th year

Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University’s 84th annual Christmas Candlelight Vespers is scheduled for 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 7, at Rice Auditorium. Admission is free.

The Baker University brass ensemble, concert choir, brass quartet, chamber singers, percussion ensemble, percussion ensemble, orchestra, speech choir, jazz ensemble, string quartet and community choir will perform. The audience will be welcomed to sing along for “Silent Night.”

Baker President Lynne Murray is scheduled to read “Sitting on the Hillside” from “Kneeling in Bethlehem.”
