“Be HERE” at the “Last Lecture” on November 27

Paulette Schwerdt, instructor of business and economics, will deliver a “Last Lecture” at 9 p.m., Nov. 27, 2018. The lecture, “Be HERE Now,” about being present in your daily life, will take place at Rice Auditorium.

Schwerdt earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from Washburn University. She spent 22 years working for Security Benefit in project and money management and five years at Garmin in their finance department.  She served as an adjunct instructor at Washburn and Baker before becoming a full-time instructor at Baker six years ago.

The event is free and open to the public as part of a series hosted by Baker’s Student Activities Council.
