Between the clinical shifts she covered while earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Baker University School of Nursing in 2010 and the years she spent as a registered nurse directly afterward, Melanie Miller has spent countless hours working in scrubs. Balancing a busy schedule that also includes being a mother and now working as a nurse practitioner at F.W. Huston Family Medicine and Urgent Care in Basehor, Kansas, Miller also knows a thing or two about being pragmatic with her time. That’s where Miller’s brainchild, AM PM Medical Scrubs, comes in.
Designed to meet the needs of on-the-go health care professionals, AM PM Medical Scrubs are made of antimicrobial, moisture-wicking materials that are flexible enough to handle an after-work yoga session while remaining practical enough to maintain a professional appearance in any medical environment.
“I realized current scrubs lent themselves to very little beyond their intended use,” Miller said.
As the cofounder and CEO of the company, Miller sought ways to make her products as functional and fashion friendly as possible, personally researching materials and garment samples in order to bring her vision of scrubs with multiple uses to the ever-growing community of health care workers.
With merchandise for both men and women,
