Reading is essential to all curriculum areas, however most students will only hear their textbooks read aloud to them. Reading aloud to our students creates a bond between teacher and student that is irreplaceable. Reading aloud to our students increases: comprehension, vocabulary, critical thinking skills, and most importantly helping children love to read! In this course we will look into how read-alouds can help you cover your curriculum standards.
