Harter Scholarship Competition

Participation in the Harter Scholarship competition is by invitation only.

Baker’s Most Prestigious Academic Award

Harter Scholars receive full tuition for four years at Baker and have the opportunity to spend a semester at Harlaxton College in England.

Eligibility is determined by GPA and ACT or SAT score. Qualified candidates who have been admitted to the university will be sent an invitation to visit campus and interact with faculty while competing for Baker’s highest scholarship.

Baker names two to five Harter Scholars each year.

Scholarship Competition Day

Students admitted to Baker who receive an academically based scholarship are invited to participate in a day celebrating accomplishments and exploring Baker opportunities. Scholarship Competition Days takes place in November and February.

Scholarship competition days are held each fall and winter for students entering Baker the following fall who have qualified for an academic scholarship. Come explore opportunities at Baker and interview for an additional scholarship.
